Do not risk your health or money at this salon. I am officially stopping my visits here. I explicitly asked for a gel manicure, but the technician completely ignored my request and used a cheap acrylic application instead.Far more alarming is the severe safety issue. During the process, they used a strong white powder that immediately triggered a horrible reaction. My fingertips feel like they are completely on fire, suffer from intense tingliness, and are uncontrollably wobbling. It hurts very much, and the burning pain is unbearable.After researching these exact nerve-burning symptoms, they point directly to the use of MMA (methyl methacrylate)—a highly toxic chemical that is strictly illegal for cosmetic use in Canada. This business is overcharging clients for incorrect work while actively causing physical harm with banned substances. Save your health and stay far away! Also there was a comment in these reviews that mentioned similar products of MMA (methyl methacrylate) use at this nail salon, so I'm not the only one dealing with this situation.

Horrible experience last year. It was in June and I got a pedicure. The lady was a little rude and short with me. When I left within a month my toe started to bother me. It ended up being an ingrown toe nail and got infected. I had 2 procedures done since then on the same nail. Dont go there!

I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon and would not recommend it. I went in to have my powder (dip) nails removed, but the process used was completely improper and painful. Instead of soaking the nails in an appropriate solution (as is standard practice), the technician began cutting and trying to pry the nails off. She even used a fake nail to dig between my natural nail and the powder layer in an attempt to separate them, which caused significant discomfort. I tried to explain that proper removal usually involves soaking in acetone rather than forcefully removing them with tools or a drill, but my concerns were dismissed. She briefly placed my hands in warm water, which is not an effective or safe method for removing dip nails, and then continued to clip and break the nails off. By the end of the service, my nails were damaged, uneven, and extremely sore. What was described as a “manicure” was simply clipping and tearing off the remaining nail product. After I left, I realized my fingers had multiple cuts, and I even needed bandages. My hands were painful, especially when washing them. I paid $35 for this service, which was not worth it at all. This is not my first visit, and unfortunately, I have been unhappy with previous nail sets here as well. Overall, this experience lacked professionalism, proper technique, and basic care for client safety. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. I just hope my nails heal properly and do not develop any infection.
